Grade: A+ (82/100)

Description: Given a primitive first-person shooter as a framework, I was tasked with creating my own mission, over which I was given complete creative freedom. I decided to create a lab-escape themed map, whereby the player must navigate their way through a laboratory infested with giant mutated spiders. Visual storytelling was used to form the world, and the player must use their own intuition to unlock doors to progress through to the exit. Marks were awarded based upon level and mission design.

Grade: A+ (94/100)

Description: I was tasked with creating a design brief for a video game based upon a movie of my choosing. I decided upon the 2011 Indonesian action film The Raid as a basis, and designed a fully-fledged puzzle-sidescroller, whereby the playable police units each have their own special abilities, and must be used in cohesion in order to clear floors of a tower block. The brief covered all aspects of the game including; mechanics, themes, aesthetic, controls, demo level walkthroughs, pacing charts, sound design, UI and more.

Grade: A+ (81/100)

Description: A group effort of 20 randomly assigned students of varying skills and development pathways, assigned to create a sequel, prequel or DLC expansion for Fortnite (2017). Our team decided to create a top-down PvE cooperative base-defense game, complete with scavenging and crafting elements. A couple of weeks into the project, the Lead Designer was asked to step down, and the team unanimously decided that I would be the most fitting person to fill the position. Consequently, my role became an amalgamation of both administration, leadership and development.
